'Fight the good fight'
Fight the good fight is a
hymn about the battle of living the Christian life. The
arrangement is in red signifying bloodshed. God gave his Son
who shed his blood to give us life - the life that is our 'Joy and
crown eternally.' The palm-like leaves represent swords and
the Bible is the word of god which is the sword of the Spirit.
the shield represents the shield of faith - "only believe and thou
shalt see that Christ is all in all to thee."
