'O God our help in ages past'
This hymn and window
reminds us of many men and women who gave and continue to give their
lives to keep us free. The use of so many red, white and blue
flowers, instills a feeling of national pride and a faith in God's
help. Thoughts of those who have gone before us are brought to
mind by the book 'Forgotten Soldiers' - written by one of our
parishioners, Stephen Walker. The poppies speak for themselves
- Lest we forget.
