'Batman and Robin'
(alias our Rector and Curate) took a leap of faith on Saturday 4
June 2011 when they abseiled down Bangor Abbey church tower.
They led some 50 fund-raisers who made the 70 feet descent in aid of
the appeal fund for our new
Parish Centre
and in support of two programmes in the Anglican diocese of Kibungo,
on the eastern border of Rwanda.
